Using PowerPoint-like Drawing Tools

Now with Microsoft FrontPage® version 2002, you can use enhanced drawing tools like auto-shapes, drop shadows, Word Art, and text boxes for attention-getting effects on your web pages. These drawing tools are as easy to use in FrontPage as they are in Microsoft Word® or Microsoft PowerPoint®. The effects look great when viewed on a variety of browser brands and versions. This also means that you can easily paste any shapes you create in other Office applications, directly into FrontPage.

To create a new drawing, open a new or existing page in FrontPage 2002 and do the following:

  1. In Page view, select Picture from the Insert menu, and then select New Drawing, (Or select the Drawing icon from the main toolbar).
  2. Add AutoShapes, Text Boxes, Word Art, or drop shadows just like you would from within Microsoft Word.
