Setting Picture Options in a new Photo Gallery

When you create a new Photo Gallery or add images to an existing gallery in Microsoft FrontPageŽ version 2002, you have more control over how and where your images are saved. You can even convert images on the fly either to JPEG or GIF format, choose how quickly they will display, or control their file size.

To choose Picture Options for a new photo gallery or for new images in an existing one, open a new or existing page in FrontPage 2002, create a new photo gallery or add new images to an existing gallery, and do the following:

  1. In Page view, select Save from the File menu.
  2. In Save Embedded Files, select an image file under Embedded files to save:
  3. Click on the Picture Options button and select format options for your image.
  4. Click OK.
  5. To Rename, Change Folder (where your image is saved) or Set Action (choosing how to save it), click on the appropriate button.
  6. When ready to save your new images, in Save Embedded Files click OK.

Tip: To apply the same Save and Picture Options to several images at once, multiple select them in Save Embedded Files dialog by using the control key and left-click (CTRL+Left-click) on each file before applying options in the Save and Picture Options dialog boxes.
