Quickly Change Navigational Elements From Text To Buttons
Using Microsoft FrontPage® version 2002, you can quickly change formatting of
navigational elements such as links in a link bar in SharePoint™ Team
Services-based or FrontPage 2002-based Web sites. For example, in just a couple
of steps you can turn text links into buttons. The buttons you can choose from
are based on styles of all Themes available. Or you can use button styles from a
theme that has been applied to your web site. This means you can also use custom
buttons from new Themes you’ve made. To customize a Theme see Customizing Themes
in FrontPage 2002
To change text links into buttons in a SharePoint Team Services-based Web
site, open the Web site with FrontPage 2002 and edit it directly on the server
as follows:
- In Page view, double-click the link bar.
- Click the Style tab.
- Select the link bar style you want to use for this link bar. Or, if your
page uses a theme, click Use Page's Theme.
Tip: You can turn buttons back into text links or change the text
style by scrolling to the bottom of the styles in the Choose a style:
pane where there are 7 text styles to choose from.
