Add and Modify New Pages Using the Navigation Pane
The Navigation Pane is new in Microsoft FrontPage® version 2002. Previously,
you had to go into the Navigation View to see how your pages link to each other
in FrontPage. The Navigation Pane allows you to see how your pages link together
while you’re still editing a page. Now it’s even easier to add new pages, delete
links to existing ones or rename page titles using the Navigation Pane. And all
changes automatically update buttons, links and pages.
To quickly add and modify a new page using the Navigation Pane, open a Web
site in FrontPage 2002 and do the following:
- In the View menu, select Navigation Pane.
- To add a new page, right-click under an existing page in the
Navigation Pane, select New, and click Page on the shortcut
menu.
- To add or change the title of a page, right-click the page, click
Rename on the shortcut menu, and edit the name.
- To save changes, right-click in the Navigation Pane
background and select Apply Changes on the shortcut menu.
Tip: You can create a new Top Page by right-clicking in
the Navigation Pane below the last existing page, select New, and
then click Top Page. New top pages are automatically added to link bars
in shared borders.
