"The Solution Foundry, a management-consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia assists industrial/manufacturing clients in the development, deployment and maintenance of their Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management systems. In
January 1998, we started using Microsoft® FrontPage® 98 to develop and launch our company website because of our familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of applications and the integration of FrontPage 98 into Microsoft Office. This was our first experience with web development and
management."
"We utilized Microsoft® FrontPage® 2000 to develop the EMSolution® Web, a portable website solution designed to assist our clients in the development, communication and maintenance of EHS management systems. The EMSolution Web typically resides on a company’s intranet and is
updated and maintained by EHS management professionals using FrontPage 2000."
"Our largest client, Alcoa Inc., has licensed the EMSolution Web as its global EHS management system structure. Since the launch of EMSolution, we have trained over 300 EHS management professionals to use FrontPage 2000 to update and maintain their own versions of the EMSolution
Web."
"Provided with partially-populated content in a fully-functioning website and the tools necessary for them to customize and manage their own content, our clients have found that deployment of EMSolution has dramatically decreased the time, effort and cost associated with the development
of an EHS management system. They also report that the management of their EHS websites using Microsoft FrontPage 2000 has improved the day-to-day communication and performance of their EHS systems. And they are no longer dependent upon their site’s IT/Web development support personnel to
update elements of their EHS programs."
"Using Microsoft FrontPage 2000 to update and manage the EMSolution Web, a number of our clients have stated that managing their environmental, health and safety web is the most rewarding and enjoyable part of their job."

Jillayne Schlicke is a Real Estate Technology Specialist with First American Title Insurance Company. She supports over 30 sales reps with real estate technology resources and training in 3 counties in Western Washington. Knowing it would be a
big win for her program and her company, Jillayne implemented a web site where sales reps could access course descriptions and available training dates. She found most of the work was in writing the content for the class. With FrontPage, design, implementation, testing, and publishing took
about a week. Once online, she continues to maintain the site, daily updating content with some newfound spare time-
"Today, most of our real estate customers prefer a live, classroom setting for their real estate continuing education classes. After class, often the trainer receives requests for more information from the students. The web site acts as a resource for the students after the class is
over, and has cut my follow up work by 80%!"
"In a class about technology and the Internet, students expect to have the Internet as part of class. Instruction using a web browser brings this experience directly to them by employing such techniques as adding a visual hyperlink in FrontPage on the fly and then clicking-through while
covering that subject. An html presentation also allows for a nonlinear approach, covering topics in any order while they're hot. However, there are challenges such as a slow connection or no connection at all. But with FrontPage, I built a local web and use the web browser 'offline' to open
up and run a presentation offline. This format keeps student interest high while allowing for a disconnected scenario."
"The Site Management Reports in FrontPage 2000 are a terrific decision-making tool that I use throughout the development, update and maintenance process. I can test page load time, which helps with graphic file size decisions. Testing hyperlinks are one of those tedious, yet crucial
tasks since the site is used for live presentations. Internal and external hyperlinks must work flawlessly. Also, cool JavaScript components aren't cool if they don't work. The component errors report in FrontPage is checked daily."
"Future plans for firstamclockhours.com include scoping implementation of an online class offering. This would include using FrontPage to add; permission settings, a way for the student to test his/her knowledge and e-commerce functionality for online payment."
