Bonus Tutorial: How to Collect Addresses
From Your Web Site Visitors-
Download Your Collected Addresses - Step 4
For my first test of the form data collection system, I entered my personal data into the form as shown on the right and pressed the "Send Information" button.

As soon as I submitted my data, I got the default confirmation page shown on the right. If you want something else to show up, just configure your form to choose a different "Confirmation Page". The default works for me, so now I continue.
To locate the data I hope my form has saved, I refresh the view in FP and look for the data file I named "addresses.txt" in an earlier step. Now let me warn you. If you have built your form page and saved it onto your PC, and then transferred it to your host space, FP will probably
have changed the data file to something like this: "_private/form_results.csv" which is the default location for form contents to be saved. If you do not want your results to be saved there, just change the designated file after you have moved your Web page onto the host space by
changing the properties of the form as we did earlier.

Now, since I want to require this datum, I click the "Validate..." button and select the "Required" option in the new dialog box that appears. I type into the box labeled, "Display Name:", the
description I want displayed when my visitor screws up and does not enter an email address. I "OK" out and repeat the process for each data field in my form.
You can tinker with the validation settings if you like to try and improve the quality of data you collect, but I suggest you begin by using the simplest settings as I have described. Later, if and when you determine that you need better control, you can always increase the constraints.
